 Biography ....

Lindsay Waddington has been a professional touring and session musician for many years. He made his career as one of Australia's busiest country drummers having toured with and backed most of our leading artists.

 For over a decade he was working with Lindsay Butler and Shaza Leigh and prior to that he spent several years with "The Brian Young Show". "Waddo" as he is affectionately known within the industry, has recently made the transition to become a multi-instrumentalist and entertainer.

 In 2003 Waddo released his debut instrumental album "Cool Change" and then In 2005 Waddo received the Queensland Gold Medallion Award for “Queensland Musician of the Year”.  He continued his success receiving Gold for “Queensland Musician of the Year” in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

 LBS Music released his second album ‘Nice & Easy’ following the popularity of his singles ‘Maddison’s Melody’ and ‘Down Riordanvale Road’.

This album enjoyed continued success on the airwaves across Australia.

 Waddo has built a following not only from his guitar and mandolin skills but for his larrikin wit and light-hearted comedy on the road and is currently working on his forthcoming album to be released with LBS Music in 2010.
